The Tonore's Summer Wine Tasting will be on
Thursday, July 15th and we are proud to announce that the
proceeds from the tasting fees will benefit ARCO. ARCO has
lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in state funding this year and
needs money so they may help the developmentally disabled of our
community. I hope that all can attend the wine tasting but if
there is anyone that can not attend and want to make a contribution
to the cause please consider donating the $5.00 entry fee.
On Thursday the 22nd of July will
feature the Summer Beer Tasting to benefit the Friends group
associated with KEDM. Congratulations to the staff at KEDM for
making their fund raising goal in June. Remember, this was
just a stop-gap and the station needs on-going support to continue
the wonderful programming that we all
enjoy.
Babbette Adcock is heading up the effort for
the KEDM friends group and she will need some help. Please
call her at 614-8282 to volunteer to make a dish from the KEDM
cookbook or to offer your services in staffing the table and selling
tickets that can be used for food or a chance in the
raffle.
Tonore's will be open on Sunday July
4th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. On Monday July
5th our hours will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm. We
hope that all will have a great Independence Day
weekend.

looking for? Please let us know and we will do our best to get
what you are looking for. It is always our pleasure to be of

wines. Red wines and white wines will all be available for
your tasting experience.

around the world presented at this tasting. There will be
something for everyone. Domestic beers, Craft brews, Imported
Lagers and Ales and Flavored Malt drinks will all be
sampled.
The will be Hamburgers, Bratwurst and Hot
Dogs available for those that want
them.
Rob Lloyd will be on hand with his jazz
stylings and I understand that he is making a pot of
jambalaya.
Several members of the KEDM staff and on-air
personalities will also be in
attendance.

available for in-home wine tastings or for your own special
tastings---but not in December. What will it be? Wine,
beer, single malts, top shelf bourbons, liqueurs, cheese or anything
else you can think of! Prices will vary with the event.
